Michael Bernhard (born 30 April 1981) is an Austrian politician from NEOS – The New Austria and Liberal Forum. He was sworn in as a member of the National Council on 23 October 2019 following his election in the 2019 Austrian legislative election.[1]
Michael Bernhard attended primary school from 1987 to 1991 and secondary school until 1995. In 1996, he enrolled at a grammar school in Vienna but did not complete his studies there. He began his career in the telecommunications industry with European Telecom.
From September 2001 to June 2005, Bernhard worked in customer relationship management at UTA Telekom. He then worked for Tele2 Telecommunication from 2005 to August 2010, where he was responsible for outsourcing project management as well as research, process, and quality management.
Bernhard completed additional training in management, taxation, and law. In 2010, he passed the university entrance qualification examination for social and economic sciences.
Since October 2011, Bernhard has served as managing director and co-owner of Global Office Franchise AT GmbH, a business process outsourcing company specializing in call center services, customer care, and information technology. Since 1 September 2015, he has also been managing partner of Pristis Holding GmbH.[2]
