United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is a development organization of the United Nations that works to reduce poverty, inequality, and vulnerability and to support sustainable development around the world. It was established in 1965 and is headquartered in New York City.

The UNDP works with governments and other organizations on areas including poverty reduction, democratic governance, climate change, crisis response, and sustainable development. Its work supports countries in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
