OpenWiki is written by volunteers. Nobody checks an article before it is published, and no article has an assigned author who is responsible for it. Any page you read may have been edited moments ago by someone who was mistaken, or who was deliberately introducing an error.

That is not an argument against using it. Open editing corrects errors quickly, and the history of every page is public, so you can always see who wrote what and when. But it does mean:
