== Asking questions ==

Every page has a '''Discussion''', reached from the tab at the top left. It is not a wiki page: you post messages into topics and reply to each other, and nobody can rewrite what you said. Use it to raise a problem with an article rather than arguing inside the article itself.

You do not need an account to post; messages from people without one are signed '''Anonymous'''. Nothing needs signing by hand: every message records its own author and time. [[Special:Discussions]] shows recent activity across the whole site.

== Conventions ==

* Article titles are singular and unadorned: ''[[Octopus]]'', not "Octopuses" or "The octopus".
* The first sentence of an article should say plainly what the subject '''is''', with the title in bold.
* Sections use <code>== Level two ==</code> headings; the article title is the only level-one heading.
* Categories go at the bottom of the page.
